At Sunbeam Schools, we understand that every child is unique and different students shine in different aspects. So, we give equal importance to co-curricular activities and sports alongside academics.

We have even created a separate sports department called the SportsBeam, where students can explore their sporting potential. Here students get to participate in a wide variety of sports like cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, carom, throw ball, chess, volleyball, handball, roller skating and much more.

Our students get to explore these sports under the guidance of skilled mentors and instructors and get to make use of world-class facilities within our school grounds.

We have a tournament sized football field, indoor synthetic tennis courts, professional 400 metre 8 lane athletics track, two indoor table tennis courts, a modern, fully equipped gym and other top-class infrastructure for different sports.

These high-quality training facilities along with highly specialized instructors have helped many Sunbeamians reach the peak of their individual sports. Many students of Sunbeam Schools have represented India in national level and international level competitions.

Even students who may not want to take up sports as their professional career can enjoy the sporting facilities of Sunbeam Schools. The gyms and regular physical exercises keep students healthy and active. It also teaches them very important life lessons like teamwork, sportsmanship, the ability to accept failure and so on.

At Sunbeam Schools sports with safety is emphasized. We provide first aid in case any student gets a minor injury while playing. There are also around 25 PETs working with students to teach them the safe and correct way to play different sports.

Parents who want their wards to flourish in sports can also send their children to the Annual Sportsbeam Summer Coaching Camp. Here, students spend their summer break fine-tuning their skills in different sports from top-level performers in those fields.
