SUNBEAM SCHOOLS AND LEARNING POINT CENTRE ACHIEVE GOOD RESULTS IIT JEE Advanced exams are considered to be the toughest among all the entrance exams to the Institutes of Technology in India. There are 23 IITs in India and around 15 lakh students appear for entrance exam every year for entry into these IITs. Less than one percentage among them manage to succeed and enter inside. So the Govt. of India has divided IIT entrance examinations into two stages viz. the JEE Mains as the lower stage and the JEE Advanced as a higher stage. Around 1 lakh applicants who succeed in the Mains exam would qualify for entry into the NITs spread throughout the country, formerly known as Regional Engineering colleges. Around 16,000 students who cracked JEE Advanced exams, the toughest examination in the world, enter into IITs. There are very few students who have cracked IIT JEE advanced from the Vellore district till this year. Last year the Sunbeam & Learning Point team trained one boy Poorna Syama Sundar and he successfully cracked IIT JEE Advanced and got admitted in IIT Tirupati with a National rank of 2213. For the first time in the history of Vellore the Sunbeam & Learning Point team under the leadership of Dr.George Arvind MBBS., has made it possible for four students from Sunbeam CBSE & Matric school to qualify in JEE advanced and gain admission into the prestigious IITs of India. The Sunbeam CBSE students, U.Likhith has scored an All India Rank of 2411, S.Mugilan 6508th rank and CBSE Repeater A.V. Madhumitha 6956th rank and one Matric student K. Bala Murugan has scored 5694th rank. All these triumphant candidates have become eligible for entry into B.Tech. courses in IIT. Many of us are not aware of the glory of the IITs. Most of the Indian wizards and superheroes like the google leader Sundar Pichai, the Aadhar hero Nandan Nilekani, the Reserve bank governor Raghuram Rajan, Central Minister Mr Manohar Parrikar, Infosys founder Narayana Moorthy, popular English author Chetan Bhagat, Honorable Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and many more outstanding achievers from India have graduated from IITs. IITs are a proud symbol of academic excellence in India. Most of the parents of school children in small towns are not aware of IIT education. It is also very rare for girls to crack JEE advanced. Two of our successful candidates, Bala Murugan from the state board Matriculation stream and a girl Madhumitha deserve a special mention. The Sunbeam Chairman and Learning Point founder Director Harigopalan and the Sunbeam Correspondent and Learning Point Director National Best Teacher Awardee Mrs Thangaprakash congratulated the achievers, the Director, teachers and all other staff members who were behind this outstanding success. Mr.Harigopalan stated that a grand function would be organised to distribute awards and cash prizes to these special achievers in a short while.
